Ready to categorize your point cloud data with the power of AI? SpatialScale’s Point Cloud Classification job lets you effortlessly sort points into classes like ground, vegetation, buildings, wires, and noise. Here’s a simple guide to get you started!
Step 1: Access the Classification Tool
Log in to your SpatialScale account and open the AI-powered point cloud classification tool. It's easy to find in the interface.
Step 2: Set Your Classification Options
Retain Existing Classifications: If you want to keep your current classifications, make sure this option is selected.
Select Output Classes: Check the boxes for the classes you want to create, such as ground, vegetation, buildings, wires, and noise.
Step 3: Configure Vegetation Criteria
Fine-tune your vegetation classification by setting the criteria for each level:
Low Vegetation: Enter the parameters for classifying low vegetation.
Medium Vegetation: Define the criteria for medium vegetation.
High Vegetation: Set the standards for high vegetation classification.
Step 4: Name Your Output Dataset
Give your newly classified dataset a clear, descriptive name. This will help you locate it easily later on.
Step 5: Submit and Review
Once you’ve configured all your options, click “Submit” to let the system work its magic. After the process is complete, review the results to ensure everything is classified correctly.
By following these steps, you’ll be able to classify your point cloud data efficiently, making your spatial analysis more accurate and insightful.
